PRIMA Shine Like a Diamond Non-Wipe Top gel polish

The preferred Top gel polish for the PRIMA colour gels. It applies thinly and has an exceptionally high shine that lasts for weeks.
Designed for gel polish and soak-off builder gels
While PRIMA Shine Like A Diamond can be used as a top coat on hard gels, POLYTEK polymer gel and acrylics, as a soak-off product it is permeable and at risk of staining eg. hair dyes. For hard gels, POLYTEK and acrylics, we recommend using DIAMOND SHINE+ top gel, PROGLAZE hypoallergenic top gel or the VELVET hypoallergenic matte top.
PRIMA gel polish
The IKON.iQ PRIMA gel polishes are a new technological innovation developed by our laboratories and unlike any other gel polish on the market today. Using a totally new pigmentation chemistry developed by our chemist, the PRIMA gel polishes only require one colour layer, are excellent for nail art and produce a natural thin look without distorting the nail shape.
PRIMA is a 3-step system consisting of a Base, colour and Top gel polish. This produces natural looking nails that are chip-free for 4 weeks and that have an incredible shine.
The complete PRIMA system includes:
- X7 dehydrator and pH Balance, 15ml
- X10 air-dry bonder 15 ml, or
- X12 UV-cure bonder 15 ml. X12 has even higher adhesion and leaves a protective film on natural nails during soak-off
- PRIMA Base & Builder gel polish, 8 ml or 15 ml
- PRIMA colours gel polish, 15 ml
- PRIMA Shine Like A Diamond non-wipe top gel polish, 8 ml or 15 ml
- X8 Wiping Liquid and sanitiser, 400 ml
- X3 Soak-off Liquid, 400ml
- SIRIUS-48W LED/UV lamp
Hypoallergenic
PRIMA are hypoallergenic and do not contain HEMA Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate, (HPMA (Hydroxypropl Methacrylate) or other higher risk ingredients. This means that PRIMA is a good solution to avoid allergies, but is also happily used by many Nail Technicians who developed allergies from other brands products.

The items you need are:
- X7 Dehydrator and pH Equalizer, 15ml
- Bonder: choice of X2 (HEMA), X10 Air dry or X12 UV (both HEMA-free).
- PRIMA Base gel polish, 15ml
- PRIMA colour gel polish, 15ml
- PRIMA Shine Like A Diamond non-wipe top gel polish, 15ml
- X8 Cleanser & Sanitizer, 125ml or 400ml
Method
- Prepare the nail as usual
- Apply X7 to dehydrate
- Apply X10 bonder (primer)
- Apply PRIMA Base. One layer on gel, acrylic, POLYTEK. Two layers, like a builder gel on natural nails. Cure 30 seconds or 60 seconds using Low Heat mode
- Apply the PRIMA colour. One layer. Apply like a gel and push towards Proximal Nail Fold. Carefully drag down to free-edge to ensure good coverage there. Cure 30 seconds
- Apply PRIMA Shine Like A Diamond top, thin layer. Wipe excess from brush and nail. Cure 30 seconds.
